English B

In English B, students have been writing narrative papers using Google Documents.  By using Google Docs, the students can access their papers from any computer that has internet access.  The students can share their documents electronically with their classmates for peer editing.  We will continue to use more of the applications that Google has to offer.   
English B students have also been participating in literature circles.  Half of the class is reading Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson while the other half of the class is reading The Body of Christopher Creed by Carol Plum-Ucci.    Each student has a different role within the groups such as discussion director, word watcher, summarizer, and connector.  The students seem to enjoy the books and working in small groups.
